The Parable of the Good Samaritan, as told by Jesus in Luke 10:25-37, is a powerful story that emphasizes the importance of showing love and compassion to everyone, regardless of their background. It teaches that a true neighbor is someone who acts with kindness and mercy, especially towards those in need, and that helping others is a fundamental aspect of living a virtuous life.
